Can ‘Blogging To The Bank’ Help You To Generate Income?
Rob Benwell is an Internet marketing blogger who has been said to have made at least $500 a day from his blogs. He is the author of the book ‘Blogging to the Bank’ and it centralises mostly on blog marketing strategies that Rob had so called claimed, can generate you loads of traffic and profit. But do these blogging strategies really work? I feel that it works only to a certain extent.
Ever since the popularity of World Wide Web 2.0, blogs are getting more and more recognized as the medium to promote business products. What this ebook does is to help beginners start up their business blogs or to make blogging strategists understand more about blogs and implement ways to promote them.
In the ebook, Blogging To The Bank, it provides a certain amount of valuable information that other Internet marketing gurus teach as well, like how to research and find your target market. These strategies are too common, but still they play a part in Internet marketing research.
Another small point of good information Rob teaches is how and where to place your affliate links, Adsense codes and targeted keyword phrases into the increasingly stressful and mind-boggling codes of HTML. This at least teaches the beginners that with a guide on how to properly adminsiter HTML codes, they wouldn’t go wrong in building a blog.
However, why do I say previously that these blogging strategies work only to a certain extent?
This is because that the traffic generation strategies that Rob preaches in this ebook are outdated and not recognised by search engines. Rob teaches the ‘blog and ping’ technique in this ebook which has been banned and not recognised by search engine giants anymore such as Google and Yahoo. The ‘blog and ping’ technique is highly unrecommended because the bloggers abused it to promote tons of blogs until it flooded search engine listings. Thus, I would have to say that the blog strategies in this ebook are not applicable for traffic generation.
Overall, I would say that this ebook provides informational content fit for a beginner in blogging to start up his or her own blog. However, as for blog exposure and traffic, this ebook does not have the quality information and techniques to make the power of blogging work at its best.
