I like Johansen lol, i have 4 kids and one on the way in Jan 08 all our kids middle names begin with a J, that will be the wifes idea. Im only the donor.

We like to be different in our baby names, we went to some sites and looked at the most popular names e.g www.statistics.gov.uk/specials/babiesnames_boys.asp

then AVOIDED them lol

Once we got past that part, we went to www.babycentre.co.uk/babyname/ to get a ton of meanings on our
choices.

The name Johanson is cute, but I am inclined to think what happened to me with my second, -just may happen to you both. That when you have spent some quality time with your son you will ‘know’ the name. Don’t be in any hurry to chose.

This just might be your real first lesson being a “good husband”. Mommy’s are very possessive of their first born children. Mother bear syndrom I call it.

If I were you, I would treat her with the utmost kindness, sweetness, love, compassion, gentility you can possibly muster up. if she feels like your queen, she is going to realise that you were her gift from God (or whomever you like) and “want” to name her son after you.

But if immaturity and domanance prevail, she is going to look at you as a possible mistake and call her son whatever she wants as soon as she gets the opportunity, then tell you ‘you weren’t here when I had to sign the baby’s name on the papers so I just did what I thought I should’.

I only have one son, and although I worship the ground my husband walks on, he really didn’t want me to name my son after him. I honored his wishes. But I did name my son after the only other man I worship, my father. My daughter on the othr hand, it was my choice. 100% my choice.

Make her worship you and she will realise how important it is to you. But you only have a few day so you might have your work cut out for you.
