The #1 Problem Faced by Internet Entrepreneurs (Part 1)
I can vividly recall the good ol’ days…
Staring blankly at the computer screen, slitting my wrist and giving blood, slurping on ramen soaked with MSG, thinking to myself…
If only…
If only…
If only…
If only I had some extra cash.
- Cash to fuel my traffic generation campaigns.
- Cash to invest in more marketing resources.
- Cash to build my business.
- Cash to hire the right people and outsource the menial aspect of my business that I abhor.
- Cash to buy myself better food.
- Cash to buy me more ‘time’ so that I can come up with that next winning idea for a project
And finally, cash to buy me ‘peace of mind’.
If you’re reading this and nodding in agreement, then it is quite possible that I’ve just hit the nail right on the head.
You’re not alone.
Millions of Internet entrepreneurs worldwide struggle with the same problem.
Cashflow.
Sure, there lots of ‘quality’ business problems Internet entrepreneurs face, but usually there’s not a single problem that cannot be solved with the assistance of some readily available greenbacks.
Interne entrepreneurs need profits. They need sales, and ROI, and they need it NOW.
It’s totally normal, and not at all unusual.
If this describes your current predicament, you may be thrilled to know that it doesn’t have to be this way.
And I speak from firsthand experience.
There is a powerful strategy that you can deploy to solve your immediate need for cash, and it works ALL the time.
I think you’ll agree that once you understand how to do solve your cashflow problems, you’ll be more liberated and empowered to focus on your long term business vision and hitting your business building goals with more accuracy.
What do YOU think?
Pray, do share your comments below to let me know if I’m on the right track to solving your problems, or have I missed the mark?
Either way, let me know, and if the feedback is positive, I may be so inclined to share with you exactly how I personally eradicated my cashflow problems in my earlier days, and what you need to do to experience an overnight cash bonanza and rapid acceleration of happiness, because after all, happiness is a positive cashflow.

Jo Han, of course you hit the nail on the head regarding the need of more cashflow… who doesn’t need more cashflow? Especially when you’re just getting started… or maybe just getting started on a new idea…
“If only I had more cash to invest in advertising… then I could MAKE more cash…”
“If only I had the cash to invest in this project I’ve been thinking about….”
“If only I had the cash to explore other marketing avenues….”
“If only I had enough cash to never have to use credit….”
Yes, everything you said and more… We all need more cashflow to fund our businesses and to have less worry about paying bills, etc…
I’m certainly interested in knowing what can be done in order to experience an “overnight cash bonanza”, as you put it. I’m skeptical of everything, so give us something good here… something real…
And yes, I am fond of dots… dot dot dot

Well, that’s one thing I cannot hypnotize myself into having more in an instant! - Cash flow…
not that I periodically hypnotize my clients and levitate their wallets into my pocket. (although I could…)
your “ramen” moment (I googled ramen to have a inking of what it meant… now I know..) reignite memories of the countless months I survived on stale unsold baguette while wandering aimlessly thru life and searching for my hidden talent.
It’s a bit distant and difficult now to feel the impact of cashflow if you hadn’t brought up this issue.
yep, cashflow seems to be one deciding factor on how fast I could grow once you’ve got your vision clear and direction set.
Once you’ve got a few stable income stream flowing in and in no hurry to expand, then again it doens’t seems to be too apparent.. but thats where the danger lurks..
manage your cashflow well when times are good…
Good reality check for me!
Maybe now is a good time to open up my opportunity windows again…
Share it for the good of the community Jo Han! :)…

Cashflow is certainly one of the biggest problems that every entreprenuer faces in any business as a matter of fact ( unless your dad is Donald Trump )
However, even with abundant cash, a business may not thrive if there is no growth in revenues generated from the business. The business owner, not only must be able to manage the cashflow and the business but also to steer and correct the business direction as and when needed (owner must be aware of the market and the changing landscape…). Otherwise, even big businesses can go down overnight - see the recent case of Lehman Brothers… Scary but it happens when you are not careful…
Running any business is not easy and certainly not child’s play. And to treat an online business like a real business requires even more discipline and commitment.
I think your years of experience in the internet marketing business is definitely valuable to us, especially those who are just starting or trying to make a mark. I look forward to reading your insights and hopefully use that knowledge to grow my own online business further!

Although I’m not an entrepreneur
I can relate to cash flow when you said “happiness is a positive cash flow”.
if that means more :
- Beauty treatment
- Monthly Pedicure (I’m not asking for much really)
- Belly dancing sessions
- Matching Shoes
- Ladies Fitness Membership
- Short getaways
- An extra cute blink blink on my lady finger..
Then, be quick with your next post!
I’ve eying a pretty red blouse from one of the big brand…
not to mention the matching red hot heels I’ve just bought.

stop teasing us and give us the solution fast!
I believe that the only way to solve my problem now is for you to give CASH to me! hahaha…
Or pray that I can win at some lottery or have a long lost relative who left some huge inheritance for me.

Hi Jo Han,
I almost choked twice today. Once over my instant ramen during lunch when I was reading Rich’s recent book on the same topic… then now over my supper when I read your post here…
It’s a relief to learn that I am not the only one facing the same problems… but yet an uneasy feeling that brings up this question that “Am I doing everything right? Am I heading towards the correct direction?”
I have been reading your blog for some time now and I truly admire you and your powerful grasp of marketing concepts and your way with words.
I will be eagerly awaiting your next post…

Smells like a teaser sequence for a product launch.
Not a bad thing though. A product like this is needed and wanted by everyone and will definitely come in handy in uncertain times like these.
I eagerly look forward to your product launch, Jo.

Your right, when one is first starting out the learning curve is steep and if one can keep their basic bills paid until they can gain more knowledge then this IS the key to long term success.
Thanks for any info you care to share.
